Top 10 Current Clans

As always, any runescape clan rank listing is open to interpretation as I have personally not been involved in the clan community since ST closed. I felt it was about time I listed a top 10 list and then perhaps someone would be able to make a stronger case for a different clan.

Anyway, here is my list of top 10 clans in runescape with a brief reason why they are ranked at their current position. The clan rank refers to F2P listings.

1. Ds - Possibly not going to remain top rank for too long as complacency can easily set in and they can be caught unaware that will break up their team spirit somewhat.
2. Di - Should be competing with DS on any confrontation although they do not always win like they used to and some of the recent recruits are not people I have personally fought so cannot comment on their abilities. Always looking to regain #1 position and this is why I ranked them at #2 - to keep them motivated :P
3. Corr - They have the ability to perform in wars and some pk run ins - however, I feel they are still a long way short of competing with the 2 clans above while they can hold their own against any of the other top 10.
4. Rsd - They are too quiet to be ranked any higher and personal experience is they are capable, just not active enough consistently to merit any higher rankin.
5. Df - Has beaten all those below consitently is what I read, although I am unsure of them being able to rise above 5th rank.
6. Lf - They consistently have numbers but often fight other clans at bad times for them. The timezone really limits them from ranking any higher.
7. Trwf - They seem to go through spells of being great then being just above average. This seems to be a time of them being just above average, which still makes them a top 10 clan.
8. The - One of the oldest runescape clans but altogether too quiet.
9. Gladz - Have kept them at 9th spot even though they are going through a rough spot, I expect they may not move any higher for a while but should be able to hold their own against most clans outside the top 10.
10. Eh - Eternal Honour, my pick of the clans in runescape for 2007. The majority of founding members were from Sacred Templars and this bodes well for the future. I fully expect them to be competing regularly for a top 5 or higher rank later in the year, but for now 10th rank is good until more history is built up.
